Thanks Jenn! I ordered the stamps from an online Etsy store called VerdeStudio. Make sure that you get the correct postage for your invitations!! The square invitations can cost more money. The mailman at the post office told me a horror story in which a bride didn’t realize this difference in price- all her wedding invites were sent back to her!!!
As for the programs- well, those were a bit of a project! (but a really fun one)
1) First, I selected an online wedding program template to use as a blue print. Just google “free wedding program templates” and a ton of options will appear!
2) Then I went toPaper Source where I selected six different patterns that would harmonize with each other (in a shabby chic sort of way). Here’s a close up pic that I took on my cell so you can better see some of the other patterns.
3) Then I went to Kinkos (FedEx) to have them align, print and fold the programs. Finally, I had them cut down the patterned paper to the appropriate size that I would later fold in half to cover the programs.
4) In the meantime, I ordered 1/8th inch ribbon online to save money.
5) THEN (and this is the BEST part) I had my bridesmaids over to fold the patterned paper covers, insert the programs, and bind them with ribbon bows. We seriously had a blast doing this together. I highly recommend making your own programs, if only for the bonding experience you’ll have with your ladies.
